other catalogues of the Interpostal Seals of Egypt
There are three stand-alone catalogs published on the Interpostal Seals. The O. May Catalog titled 'Egyptian Interpostals' appeared in 1914. George Chapier published 'Les Vignettes de Franchise D'Egypte' in French in 1950. In 1943 Ernst Kehr published ' The Interpostal seals of Egypt', republished in1962 and 1984. The Ernst Kehr catalogs are the most complete and have been more widely used by philatelists and auction houses. This website uses the Kehr identification in all the Interpostal seal listings.
The second edition of the Nile Post, published 2025, includes a 33 page updated catalog of Interpostal Seals
