Type X:

Introduced in 1887. Described in the Kehr Catalog as follows: “POSTE EGYPTIENNES, in white letters against a background of cross hatched lines. Lower half of circle contains blue Arabic letters reading ‘Busta Masry’, against white. Center is completely blank, to enable the clerk to insert postmark of city where this Interpostal was used on mail. Printed in blue or shades thereof, on white paper. Size: 40mm.” Kehr assigned it the following Catalog numbers:
806 blue on white and 806a ultramarine on white.
It should be noted that both 806 and 806a exist on white as well as flesh colored paper.

Type XI:

Introduced in 1890. Described in the Kehr Catalog as follows: “POSTE EGYPTIENNES, in stubby white letters in upper half of solidly colored circle. Lower half is inscribed, also in white Arabic letters, ‘Pusta Masry’, which is separated on either end of the French by a rosette of five dots. Size 40mm.” Kehr assigned it the following Catalog numbers:
807 blue on white and 807a ultramarine on white.
It should be noted that both 807 and 807a exist on white as well as flesh colored paper.
