Inscribed, POSTE KHEDEUIE EGIZIANE in colorless letters around the top arch of a circular panel against a background of fine cross-hatching. At bottom arch of same circular panel is the name of the town, in colored letters against a white background. In centre, in colored Arabic letters against a background of fine vertical lines is Busta/Khedywieh/Masrieh. (Meaning “ Khedival Egyptian Post” 39 mm in diameter.
The type v is differentiated from types v a, b, c, and d by the heavy lettering of Aarabic used on town names. other differentiators are note by Kehr at right.
