TYPE Vd, 1878-1879
Inscribed, POSTE KHEDEUIE EGIZIANE in colorless letters around the top arch of a circular panel against a background of fine cross-hatching. At bottom arch of same circular panel is the name of the town, in colored letters against a white background. In centre, in colored Arabic letters against a background of fine vertical lines is Busta/Khedywieh/Masrieh. (Meaning “ Khedival Egyptian Post” 39 mm in diameter.
Same inscriptions as the other Type V, with following differences
- Arabic "EH" is almost round
- Dot is at tip of Arabic "re"
- The Arabic "re" has a knee where it joins the "saad".
